This is really wonderful. I really like your art style. The hand-drawn, wonky, colorful characters are really refreshing to see from the usual pixel character. The beaktrees are quite well done. Very silly.

Have you considered making it run in the browser with Pygbag or something?

Keep up the good work this was really fun to play!

Thanks for the feedback Jakester, happy you enjoy the wonk!
Hmm never heard of Pybag before, that's awesome if I can make it play in the browser. I'll definitetly check that out!

This is nice :)

Lovely work as always - there's always so much life, atmosphere, and creativity in your games and this was no exception! This was an interesting take on the bullet hell genre - the shield and force fields give you plenty of time to strategize, but there's still a lot of frantic dodging and damage boosting in later levels which is satisfying to pull off.

I liked the enemies too! It's cool you were able to create so many unique challenges by putting different enemies together and building environments that suit their strengths. I think sound effects and a couple of songs would go a long way (even if they're stock, no one will notice)! Great work, I enjoyed playing this.

Thanks for the feedback Ghast, I’m really glad you enjoyed it! :) Happy the shield and force field mechanics worked out, it was hard to balance it so the player was still encouraged to move about.

I think I really did underestimate the importance of sound (I play most games while listening to my own music like a monster!), you’re right that there is such a huge library of stock music that nobody would probably notice and it would really add a lot.

I really appreciate the detailed feedback mate, it’s very helpful! Hope you’re doing good.

it's a good game it's just that i think the game needs some sounds and music

Thanks for your feedback! I’m happy you liked the game.

I’m really bad at sound design (especially music), definitely something I need to work on. I definitely agree that sound would add a lot to the game, and sound effects would be doable - music’s harder since I don’t want to add stock music, as it’s hard to find some that fits the tone. Hopefully I’ll be able to hire a composer for future games!

Old install might not work on other computers because it uses desktop shortcuts which it turns out are the devil.
